by guest poet Rachel Sachs Steele
To each who’ve wandered lost and small
He clears a path for you
Over and under and through the fear, he perseveres
Masculine and soft, vulnerable and brave, lion and mouse: he roars, protects-he sacrifices, surrenders
A beacon for so many, a leader, a coach, a lover, an artist, a believer, a father, a warrior of hope
So many things you are, so many things you will be.
