      100% agree regarding memories of other types of healthcare encounters too.

      I do believe we can change this and that there are pockets of flames of goodness that we can fan to bring relationship and compassion back into healing.

      In fact, in addition to my focus in this area in my work outside of writing, my intention is for my book to ideally lend itself to both highlight areas for improvement as well as the true need for relationship and compassion and pockets where this is already being embraced.
